World rights reserved. CHURCH BRIEFS LIUM Women selling pasties on Jan. 22 The Lehman-Idetown United Methodist Women will hold their monthly pastie sale on Thursday, Jan. 22. Orders are due by January 19 and may be placed by calling 477-5219 or 639-5300. The regular monthly meeting of the group will be held at 7 p.m. on Tuesday, Jan. 27, at the church. The program for the evening will be the Pledge Ser- vice presented by Linda VanGor- der. Hostesses for the evening are Janet Eddy and Evelyn Ide. Installation of the new officers will be held by Rev. Beverly Butler. The officers for this year are Jayne Haefele, president; Sabrina Major, vice-president; Robin Rogers, secretary; and Dorothy Dawe, treasurer. The women are also selling a calendar, consisting of birthdays and anniversaries and featuring colored photos of the church at various times of the year. Calen- dars, which cost $10, may be purchased from any club mem- ber. Ham supper planned A ham supper will be held from 4 to 7 p.m. on Saturday, Jan. 31, at the Benton United Methodist Church, Main Street, Benton. The menu includes ham, mashed potatoes, gravy, corn, string bean casserole, pickled cabbage, Jello salad, pie or cake, iced team, lemonade, hot tea or coffee. Cost is $7.50 for adults and $3.50 for children ages 6 to 12. Children under age 5 can eat free. Takeouts will be available. Dream interpretation classes scheduled Dreams and vision interpreta- tion classes, sponsored by River of Life @ KPM of Dallas, are held at 6:30 p.m. every Wednes- day at 324 Overbrook Rd., Dal- las. The classes are free. If you have had a desire to understand and interpret dreams and visions or have had dreams that have gone unan- swered, these classes will help develop interpretation skills and add new insight into the revela- tory realm.
