Born in Nanticoke on March 11, 1945, he was the son of John R. and Louise Seibert Davis, St. Augustine, FL. He moved to Sweet Valley at the age of 13 and graduated from Lake-Lehman High School in 1963. He resided in Modesto, CA for seven years and lived in Dallas for ' the past 20 years. He served with the U.S. Army during the Vietnam era. He was employed as a manager at Procter & Gamble, Modesto, CA and Mehoopany for 30 years, re- tiring one year ago. He was a member of the Fellow- ship Evangelical Free Church, Dallas. He and his wife, the former Sharon Farver, celebrated their 31st wedding anniversary in May 1997. Surviving in addition to his wife and parents are his daughter, Mrs. Howie (Darci Ann) Cruthers, Jonas; brother, Ernest F. Davis, St. Augustine, Fl; two grandchil- dren. Funeral services willl be held at 4 p.m. Wednesday from the Fel- lowship Evangelical Free Church, 45 Hildebrandt Road, Dallas, with the Rev. Jeffrey Hinds officiating. Born in Wilkes-Barre, he was the son of the late Llewellyn R. and Harriet Kinsman Jones. He served with the U.S. Navy during World War II and was as- signed to the USS Princeton. He later received a bachelor of science degree in accounting from Bucknell University, Lewisburg. He served as a member of the Board of Directors of the St. David's Society of Wyoming Val- ley and attended Trinity Presbyte- rian Church, Dallas. He was a member of Lodge 61, F&AM, Wilkes-Barre, Caldwell Consistory, AASR, Bloomsburg, and Irem Temple, AAONMS, Wilkes-Barre. Following his retirement, he and his wife of 47 years the former June Collette, spent time in their homes at North Lake and Wilmington, VT. Surviving in addition to his wife are sons, Douglas H. Jones, Edgartown, MA; Daniel C. Jones and Richard A. Jones of Bala Cynwyd and Dohn L. Jones, Perry, GA; brothers, Lawrence W. Jones, Enfield, CT; and Lewellyn B. Jones, Mechanicsburg; eight grandchildren, several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Thursday from Trinity Pres- byterian Church, 105 Irem Road, Dallas with the Rev.
