Donachie, 77, former resident of Trucksville, died July 12, 1994, at Riverstreet Manor, North River Street, Wilkes-Barre, where she had been a guest for the past several years. She was born in Dallas and was the daughter of the late Penn K. and Mary Lamoreaux McCarty. She was a resident of the Back Mountain area most of her life and graduated from Lehman High School, where she was a member of the women’s basketball team. She was an employee of Percy Brown Co. in her early years. She assisted her husband, William F. Sr. who died in 1982, in managing Donachie’s Inn, South Memorial Highway, Trucksville. She was a member of St. Ther- ese’s Church, Shavertown and its Altar and Rosary Society. Surviving are a son, William F. Jr., Mechanicsburg; daughters, Alyce Ann Ritts, Dallas; Mary Beth Hoban, Wayne; nine grandchil- dren; three great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. Interment, Warden Cemetery, Dallas.
