Both carts had been hot-wired, police said. Police also found that a practice green off the 15th fairway had been damaged by punching holes in the turf with a flagpole. Patrolman Wayman Miers in- vestigated both incidents. Dallas Borough CHARGED WITH D.U.l., RESISTING ARREST, OTHER OFFENSES According to Dallas Borough police, Leo Roan, 42, of Kingston, was arrested for driving while under the influence after police observed him driving south on Route 415 in an erratic matter and tailgating another vehicle. Police said that after he failed field sobriety tests, Roan attempted to escape and was apprehended by two police offi- cers, who had to use considerable force to restrain him. Roan re- fused a blood alcohol test, accord- ing to the report. In addition to the D.U.L charge, police also charged Roan with resisting arrest and disorderly conduct, and cited him for driving without a license and following another vehicle too ‘closely. Patrolman James Drury, as- sisted by Kingston Township Pa- trolman Mike Moravec and Dallas Township Patrolman Elliot lye, investigated the incident. Trixie Cooper, 18, of RR 2 Hunlocks Creek, was arrested for driving under the influence after police observed her driving north on Route 415 in an erratic mann~~, She failed field sobriety tests ar. va breath test, police said. She was also charged with underage drink- ing, careless driving and driving with a suspended license, accord- ing to the report. Ms. Cooper stated to police that her temporary learner's permit had been sus- pended due to underage drinking according to the report. Patrolman Mike Krzywicki, as- sisted by Dallas Township Patrol- man Doug Higgins, investigated the incident.
