Special reunions planned by Misericordia While the rest of the world was watching the events of World War II unfold in Europe, College Mis- ericordia’s Class of 1939 was walking across the commence- ment stage to accept their diplo- mas. Now 50 years later those class members will return to Mis- ericordia this spring for a Golden Reunion. On June 2, 3 and 4, College Misericordia will hold a “Reunion Under the June Moon,” for all alumni of the reunion classes of! 1929, 1934, 1944, 1949, 1954, 1959, 1964, 1969, 1974, 1979, and 1984. Among the weekend highlights are the Golden Reun- jon Dinner for the Class of 1939 and the 50 plus classes, the Silver Reunion Dinner for the 25th anniversary class, the Class of 1964 and the annual Alumni Awards Dinner and Presentation. In addition to the annual reun- ion events, special events for chil- dren are planned this year. Day camp, a family barbecue, pizza party and Kids’ Night at the Mov- ies are intended to get the whole family involved. Overnight accom- mondations in the dormitory and day care are available by reserva- tion only before May 15. Also new this year are short seminars taught by faculty mem- bers for alumni and their guests. The first seminar, “Nutrition for the 90s” will be taught by Joan L. Krause, M.S., R.D. The second seminar, “Ethical Decisions: Man vs. Woman," will be taught by M. Siena Finley, RSM.
