The wires of said Telephone Company shall not be allowed to approach the wires of any electrio light company, telegraph com pany or other telephone company near er than two (2) foot to the wires of said other company. In case of the violation of this section (oxcoptlng damage clause) It shall be the duty of the street Commissioner to notify the offending company to remove its wires, poles or nxtures so erected in violation tnerooi within three (M) days of such notifica tion and on failure to comply with such notice it shall be the duty of the Street Commissioner to removo the same forthwith at the expense of the offend ing party or company. The Jefferson Supply Company store at Ralhmel was destroyed by fire early Friday morning of last week. The fire started In the cellar and was boyund control when discovered at 6.45 a. m. The origin of fire is unknown. It savors very much of Incondlarlsm, at there was no fire in the oollar, where the lire started. A bucket brigade was formed and the men and boys worked hard to save the building, but were unable to copo with the fire monster that had gotten a good start bo fore being dis covered. A large stock of new fall goods was in the store. The loss it supposed to be about 18,0O0, but an official roport of loss bas not boon made yet. The building and stock was In sured, but The Star reportor bas not learned the amount of insurance. The company has not decided yet whether thoy will rebuild the store or not. Tho Church of God Sunday School will hold an- entertainment In the church Thanksgiving evening. The entertalnmont will consist of singing, recitations, select reading and some Btereoptican views.
