Mr. Spencer Starr of Sonestown, lias entered the ministry of the Methodist Episcopal church, and has been appointed to a charge near Renovo. Florence, the three year old daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Otis Rose, died Monday morning after s, week's illness of pneumonia. The child had been a great sufferer during her brief life, being subject to convulsions. The funeral ser vices were held from the Methodist church. Wednesday afternoon. F. ('. Schanabacher of Forks ville, was recently awarded the contract for carrying the mails be tween Forksville and Laporte. Mr. Schanabacher already has car ried the mail over this route the past four years, and has given com plete satisfaction to Uncle Sam and the public whom he serves.
