No specific skills are required, but some ex perience would be helpful in public relations or personnel relations work,, according to Antya Miller, personnel coordinator of the center. On the-job training is provided. The term of the coor dinators’ positions is one year, and all work is on a volunteer basis. Each position requires about 10 to 15 hours a week, Miller said. “One of the primary qualifications is that the person be a man or woman who would support the ideals College asks Shapp for aid SLIPPERY'ROCK, Pa. (AP) Slippery Rock State College trustees have asked Gov. Shapp to intercede in an in vestigation of the school’s former administration, saying they suspect wrongdoing may have been covered up. “The lack of action by the Department of Educatiori and the Department of Justice raises a number of questions,” the board said in a letter to Shapp approved 7-2 on Tuesday. “Is this a coverup of some type? If so, by whom? Of what? And for what reasons?” The trustees said state investigators have failed to explain the unusual practices that led to several firings last year, including the ouster of former President Dr. Albert Watrel. “We have in the past asked these departments for a in of the center,” Miller said. “The two coordinators along with the three other coor ’dinators will be responsible for the day-to-day operations of the center” The Women’s Resource Center was founded in March 1975 to help women develop both personally and professionally.
