In the contents of the stomach, of which Fobs was relieved before he died, were found unmistakable evi dences of poison, the oder of chloro form being very strong, says the Ti tusville Herald. The fact hns cre ated a strong desire to investigate the case throughly and has brought out some sensational developments, implicating a citizen of Hickory and a married woman of that place. It was learned that Foes had trouble with both of them and that he hud worked op a strong sentiment against them in Hickory. On Foss' person was found an anonymous letter threatening his life postmarked Hick ory. It is said that threats of foul play had frequently been made against Foss, and that he had fled from Hickory 00 that account.
