The attendance of wit nesses and others concerned in the case, from duletmry, w as very i»r*je. The referees have already met in this city, and agreed, fixing the valuation of the property at 545 per acre, which will hold good for the next 121 years. At thia valuation, the annual rent of tho 200 acres known as the Dean tract, and occupied by Jolm Coates, Charles Smith, And about a dozen others, will amount to about @3OO. The rent for this tract, under the old valuation, which expired iu tSdl, was 14 per annum. Tho increased rent will fall pretty hard upon the present occupauts of the land, and probably is much higher than they antici pated when they came iu possession of it, but they must feel greatly relieved, now that a settlement has been ef fected. While the matter was pending, it was a source of deep anxiety to them and mauy ot their friends We pmumb tlmt the Ingham tract, occupied by A t J.
