MINS remarkable invention, which has received I. the universal approbation of the medical profes sion of Great Britain, comprises an entirely less of Galvanism, as a remedial agent, by means of which the ordinary GalVanie Batteries, Electric and Magnetic Machines, &c., are entirely dispensed with, and the mysterious power of Galvanism applied 'without any of the objections.which are inseparable from the general mode now in use. The strong dos es, and irregularintervahr, in which Galvanism is ap plied by ihe Machines, has been pronounced, afterla fair and impartial trial, to be decidedly injurious, and it was to remedy this radical defect that this new -rip plicatiOn was projected, which, after unceasing toil, and pesseverance, has been, brought to its present state of perfection. The Galvanic Rings answer all the purposes of the most expensive !Machines, and in many other respects arc more safe and certain in accomplishing the desired effect. The Galvanic Rings used in connection with the Mag-netic Fluid, are confidently recommended in all disorders whickarise from an enfeehledmnd unhealthy state of the nervous or vital system, and these com plaints are among the most painful and universal tb which we are subject.. They arise, without exception, from one simple cause—aderangement of the Nerv ous System—and it was in these cases that otheX retricdies' having so often failed, a new agent was greatly needed, which it is confidently believed, has been tbund in the proper and judicious . applicatiop of Galvanism. ` The Galvanic; Rings have .been eyed with entire siiccess in all of libicustartisst, acute or chronie, applying to the head; face or limbs, Gent, Tic-Do/d -reux, Toothache; Bronchitis, Vertigo, Nervous Sick Headache, Indigestion, Paralysis, Poky, Epileps, Fits, Cramp, Palpitations of the Heart, 21.poplerli, Stiffness of Joints, Spinal Complaints, Lumbago, Neuralgia, Nerious Tremors, Dizziness of the Head; pain in the Chest and Side, General Debility, Ibficie7 7 ry of Nervous and Physical Energy, and all NERV OUS DISORDERS. In cases ofconfirmed Dyspepsia!, which is simply : a nervous derangement of the sinseS. tive.organs, they have been found equally successful,. Their extraordinary abets upon the system must be Witnesses( to be believed, and as a certain preventive for the preceding complaints they are equally record mended. The _Rings are of different prices, being made of all sizes, and of various ornamental patterns, and can be worn by the most delicate female without the slightest inconvenience: In fact, the sensation is rather agreeable than otherwise. The Galvanic Belt*, Bracelets, Garter*, Necklaces, dco. In some cases of a very severe character, and 91 long standing, the power as applied by the Galvanie Rings is not sufficient to arrestate progress ofdiseasp and ultimately restore health. Theso facts must show, conclusively, that Dr. Clickenoes Sugar Coat ed Pills, besides being the verybest medicine in the world, a re held in the highest estiinatio n by the public. We might extend this publication to an indefin ite length, if we deemed it expedient to publish all tersimoniala we have received, not only from agents but individuals and families; who have experienced the benfiCial cacti of Clickener's Sugar Coated Pills, but we deem it unnecessary. 'The most la coutestible evidence of their unprecedented success, are the numberless Imitations and Counterfeits which have already appeared, notwithstanding the brief pe riod they babe been before the public.. Even some of our staunchest pill makers have had the audacity to imitate' he Capsule of Sugar, in order to diegulse tit% ingcedients of their vile compounda, ,and palm their, off for the "real simon pure." Such paltry shifts cannot last long without eiposing theirhideous deformity.' Truth and honesty must inevitably pre vail over rascality and deception. • .. . For sale in Pittsburgh by WM.
