In Connecticut the election resulted in a large Democratic gain tho Stato giving a Liberal Republican and Democratic ma jority of soveral thousand. VENXSYI.VAMA. In this State the Republicans carried tho State by over 82,000. - ' Tho Congressional delegation is expected to Btand twenty Republicans to seven Dem ocrats. Tho Stato Senate will have a Republican majority of one and the House will be large ly Republican. Total returns for the coun ty ticket will bo found in another column. OHIO, Ohio has also been carried by tho Repub licans, but by a decreased majority from last election. Tho Democrats also gain two members of Congress, INDIANA.
