A Docter and Ills Sen Injured A Drse anil a none Car en the Same Track. On Saturday evening and Sunday there was a report In this city that Dr. 11. E. Muaser, of Wltmer's Station, had been killed by tbe cars at Blrd-iu-Hand. Yesterday the story ran that Dr. Miller was the victim aud he had been killed about neon by the cars. Late Monday afternoon this story went around the city at lightning speed and nearly every body but the reporters believed It. The two stories seem te have originated from an acci dent which occurred te Dr. Muaser at Bird-in-Hand en Saturday even ing. He stepped at the railroad track while a train was cresaing and Just as it passed another came dashing by, going in an opposite direction. The train came se suddenly that the doctor's horse became frightened and turned suddenly around. Tbe buggy was upset and tbe doctor and his little son, who was with him, were thrown out. The lermer had his wrist sprained and was considerably cut and bruised. The little boy was badly cut about ithe. face. The story about Dr. Miller arose from the fact that some one said a Bird-In-Hand doctor bad been killed. This forenoon Silas Wright, W. C. Ann Ann atreng.and Sam'l McDowell, who are In town attending the fair, started with a driver te go te McQrann'a park. They had two horses and a drag belonging te Cyrus Celvln. They drove out Chestnut street and attempted te cress the street car track en Dukestreet. The cars going te the park run very fast at this point. In order te get up the grade leading te tbe railroad bridge. Just as tbe drag get en the track the horses ei a street car ran into It. A wheel was broken from the vehicle and tbe occupants fell te the ground. Mr. Wright had one arm severely injured, al though it Is net broken, and he was con siderably cut about tbe lace.
