There were about 1,500 peeple present, aud the manage ment, who had secured Tayler's orchestra te furnish tlie dancing music, were se pleased with the success of the party that at neon they telegraphed te Lancaster for the Liberty cornet band te come out and assist, which they did, and gave concerts during the after noon. The principal amusements were dancing, beating, ball playing and ether games. Dancing was kept up until 0 o'clock in the evening, and the weeds was well illuminated.
