The ladles In the meantlme were clinging te planks or rather floating around them. Hefly managed te get soveral of the planks together and lifted the girls upon thorn. Charles Tyiitlnl seized a rope and with much difficulty swam out te the planks and heroically labored among the uncon scious ladles until he had bound the planks togethor, the crowd ashere shouting with excitoment during his laborious task. The word was given and willing hands laid held, and seen the rude raff with its almost llfoless freight was landed en the beah. The ladles wero laid en the sand, and the usual methods of resuscitation used. One of the ladles was bleeding at the nese and mouth. Mr. Sherman dovetod his tlme te bringing Mr. Moero te consciousness, and ethors gathered about Mr. Hefeman. Shortly after, fresh shrieks wero made by the crowd, aud two ladies fainted In the water and be gan Hesting out with the tlde. They were rescued by Mr. Charles Tyndal and anether gentleman.
