The, dead are Josephh Zebley, the paaafwr, 18 years old and unmarried, who was burned and ernshed almost beyond recognition, and Jaek Lape, the reperlder, who was snffoeated by the afterdamp. He was 80 years old, and leaves a widow and two children. Of the four survivors Jacob Cele, David Oele. Washington Keffer and, a boy named Chauncey the first two are badly burned and may net live. All farther efforts te enter the burning mine were fraitless,and as there are about fifteen men penned np it is supposed that they will all perish. The ezeltement is great about the mine, and the agony of wires and eh lid re n as they bewail the fate of their husbands and fathers in the burn ing pit is heartrending. Many have gene te the seene of disaster, but it is feared that the unfortunate men will net be recued, dead or alive, before morning.
