The undersigned, members of the committee, do respectfully report, that we saw the two Safes origi nally agreed upon by Farrel St Herring, and I:vans & Watson, placed side by aide in a flanace. viz: The Safe in use by the Paymaster of the Philadel phia and Reat'ing Railroad Company, in his office at Reading. manufactured by Farrel, &. Herring. and the Safe In use by H. A. Lantz, in his store, manu factured by Evans A Watson, and put in books pre cisely alike. The fire was started at Si o'clock A.
