We presume the Tribune derives its infor mation from a telegram, purporting to come -from Gettysburg, which appeared in 'the Associate Press' despatches several weeks ago, representing that negotiations were on foot for the immediate purchase of the Sem inary buildings, and thee Gov. GZA.III" was at the head of the movement. No such des patch was ever sent from Gettysburg, and nothing is known of it here. We should like to see a large hotel erected here. With the attractions growing oat of the notoriety of the Gettysburg Waters, and the great Battles of July, 1883, we believe it would pay. But it is not correct that "the mana gers of the Theological Seminary and grounds meditate their sale, with a view to removal to some more retired location." The Associated Press despatch was evident ly a canard, manufactured elsewhere, and looks very much like an "advertising dodge." 'IMPORTANT TO BOND HOLDERS.— At the last Court, the distribution of the fund in hands of Mr. McCcrsor, Sequestrator of -the Gettysburg Railroad Company, as made by the Auditor, was referred back to the Au ditor, on motihn of Counsel for gentlemen who hold the Bonds originially hypothecated to Horstss and others as collaterals, and claim to come in on the funds. Mr. NaSLY, the Auditor, gives notice that he will hear the parties In interest on the 15th of May, at his office in Gettysburg. It is a matter in which the resident and bona fide Bond holders are interested, and it might be well for them to be properly represented before the Auditor by Counsel. If the claim asserted be maintain ed, It will sweep away the larger part of the fund. 2 70-" The American 'Railway Literary Union," is the of a new and impor tant organization which proposes to banish from leading lines of travel on railway and steamboat mutes the trashy and corrupting literature with which passengers are plied by news agents on these lines. DANGEROUS.—The danger of leaving pins and needles - in clothing, to be subse quently used in washing, &e., is occasional ly illustrated by painful and serious punc tures. Last week, the wife of Mr. Josirrs Ruxims, of Franklin township, while handling a dress in which a needle has been carelessly left, had the needle penetrate her wrist, about halfthe depth of the needle. In the effort to extract it the needle broke, leav ing about one half firmly imbedded in the , wrist. TO BUILDERS.—CoI. C. H.
