Spencer, Dany Specialist, tackled a broad aiea of dairy .pioblems rang ing from pesticide residues to dairy herd management ideas. Spencer stressed the diffi culty of removing residues from foiage, and urged dairy men to follow the recommen dations of their county agent on the type of pesticides to use, and to follow to the let ter the manufacturers’ direc tions for handling, rate of ap plication and calibration. “It may take as long as 8 weeks for pesticide residues to be completely removed from a cow’s system,” Spencer said.
