Broiler-type eggs set during the week totaled 1,137,000, up 6 per cent from a week earli ei, but down 2 per cent from a year ago. The 3 week total was 5 per cent above a year earlier. Inshipments of broiler type chicks the past 10 weeks totaled 786,000 or 41 per cent above the comparable period last year. Outshipments of 1,- 273,000 were down 15 per cent. Placements in the 22 major Roasters 16-33 M 23-28; Capons, pioducing states totaled 35,- none; Fryers, none; Ducks 11- 916,000 chicks, down 1 per 24% M 21-22%; Drakes 26%-35 cent from the previous week, M 31-35; Geese, none; Turkeys but 5 per cent above a year —Toms 17-18%; Hens 18-25% eailier.
