LANCASTER POULTRY CENTER Prices Dip Fractionally Broiler prices slipped but only fractionally fiom the 18 cent average of last week, the highest since March Broiler prices at the Aug ust 30 auction at the Lancas ter Poultry Center ranged 17 7 to 18 5 for a sale average of 17 97 on the 78,000 head in 20 lots. Four lots of 1,650 roasters brought 23 to 23 1 while 3,800 pullets in three lots brought 23 to 25.7. Six lots of heavy fowl containing 4,210 head sold for 15 9 to 16.4 while 275 males brought 2 to 8.2. All lots on offer were sold The complete sale offered and sold 87,935 head in 34 lots.
