14—Lancaster Farming, Saturday, May 13, 1961 Farmer's Prices Four Months Decline HARRISBURG, May 2 Prices received by Penn sylvania farmers for their agricultural products declin ed for the fourth consecutive month, the State Department of Agriculture said today. The mid-April average pr ice received for all agricul tural products was 4 per cent below a month earlier, 7 per cent below a year ago, and about the same as April 1959 Seasonably lower prices for milk and a decline in pri ces of eggs, broilers, hogs and potatoes more than off set higher prices for cows calves, sheep, lambs soybean and apples.
