Demand was no better than fair. Estimated slaughter for the week end by Delmarva processors was 650,000 head compaied to the 555,000 head last week end. The Delmarva broiler-fe ed ratio for the week ending April 4 was back down one point to 39. Broilers aver aged 18.11 and mash cost $92.70 per ton. Georgia reported prices of 17 to 18 25 for 1,580.000 head. Estimated slaughter in Georgia for the week was 1,762,000 head. Fluid Milk Milk Production Increase Slows Production continued to increase in all areas but gen erally as a slower rate. De mand good at all markets with consumption aided in New York by sharply low er values. Some production going to cheese production with' balance going to sepa rators for flufd cream.
