The orig inal deadline was March 15. Purpose of the contest is to find a new Milkmaid to represent the state’s 700 mil lion dollar dairy industry in appearance ott radio, televis ion, parades, county fairs, and at other events. Miss Milkmaid is the state’s June Dairy Month Hostess, and it is her task to tell Pennsyl vanians of the important roles played by milk in earn ing millions of dollars for the local economy, and in providing a delicious energy food.
