More On Poisons Policy Committee Reports Viewing the increasing problems relating to use of chemicals in farming and as sociated operations, the Ag ricultural Reseai ch Policy Committee lor the U S De partment of Agriculture at its annual meeting last week urged additional immediate expansion in the program of research especially with re spect to pesticides Scope of the present program in terms of need, the committee stat ed, underscores the impor tance of extending present re search efforts Much of the Committee’s discussion during a two-day meeting with Department of ficials centered around the problems associated with both the adequacy and integ nty of the nation’s food sup ply.
