Elion is a great resource for students who want to keep track of their progress at Penn State. By keeping track of your progress, you insure that you graduate on time and take the courses you need. I can't stress that enough. I have heard many horror stories of students that couldn't gradu- ate because they didn't take a 1.5 credit health class. Elion also helps students schedule classes, late drop classes, calculate GPA, and other services. Accessed through Elion, but part of the Bursar, is your student account. You can check what you owe, or better yet, what you're get- ting back. Check it out, you may like it! Some students have been having problems printing in our labs on campus. If you sudden- ly cannot print in the labs, first check the amount of printing you have done (http://compserv.de.psu.edu/ ). If it's over 200 pages for the semester, you must visit Computer Services in the Main building to sign a form and get your print ability back. From then on, the cost is $0.07 per page, so those with budg- ets....watch what you print! Some of you may have noticed the new "H drives" on the PC's in the ‘labs. This is YOUR personal storage space here at Delco. You can store anything you'd like on this area, and access it from around campus. Soon, you may be able to access it from home. .. One important thing to remember is you can only STORE stuff on this drive, you can't install programs to it. They simply won't work....save the fact that secu- rity policies won't allow it. Finally, a plug for the IST club. If anyone is interested in learning about PC's, how they work, or how to build them, just attend one of their club meetings. All the meetings are hands on and absolutely NO knowledge is necessary. In fact, most of the members still don't know jack! Well, until next issue, hands on buzzers.... DON'T EVEN GET CLOSE To MESSING WITHTEXAS. Saee 0 a | HMAMY.,.. NEVER HEARD OF ‘EM DoiInN' THAT BEFORE.
