Due to the success of previous coffeehouses the SUB is tentatively planning more coffeehouses. Keep a lookout for posted dates. If you missed the past cof feehouses you still get a chance to get in on these enjoyable experiences. We would like to thank Mr. Krone, Manager of the Food and Housing Department, for attending a S.U.B. meeting, answering our questions, and acting upon our requests con cerning the operation of the Food Service in the Highacres Commons. A question was raised as to why there was a rise in the price of coffee and the use of setamic cups was terminated. Mr. Krone respond ed that even though styrofoam cups are more expensive in that they cannot be reused they reduce labor costs. However, he did say that if students would cooperate by cleaning up after themselves it would be possible to return to the use of ceramic cups and sim ultaneosly reduce the price of coffe to its former level of 15 cents. The S.U.B. is complying with this request by organizing a "Clean up the Commons" cam paign. We urge everyone to participate in this worthy cause. Thank you Mr. Krone for obtaining a diversity of "munchies" in the vending ma chines. Also, many thanks for getting a greater variety of foods at the Snack Bar. The S.U.B. would like to thank all the students who participated in the Student Art Show. It was an excellent expression of the artistic talent at Highacres. Keep your eyes and ears open for upcoming events. We would like you to enjoy attend ing them as much as we enjoy
