Friday and Sat urday nights will be reserved for optional exercise competi tion. The U.S. and Soviet teams will be selected by the gym nastics federations of each country. Both nations are expected to go with their best gymnasts in preparation for the Olympics. U.S. gymnastic officials indicate that the American teams must make a strong show ing against the Soviets to be assured of one of the 12 team berths at Montreal. The So viet women qualified by placing first in the World Games in Varna, Bulgaria, in 1974* The Soviet men earned a team berth with a second place showing in the same meet. Series tickets, good for all four sessions of the meet, are priced at $l2 each. Only series tickets will be sold over the counter on Dec. 7• Mail orders and orders for individual sessions may be accepted at a later date if any tickets remain after the count er sale.
