school soccer experience, as
compared with Hazleton's fresh
man-sophomore line-up.
In addition, the Altoona
and Delaware campuses were in
cluded in the schedule this
year, thus'expanding the range
of competition. Injuries, al
though generally not serious,
harassed the team all season,
requiring a great deal of off -
the -bench substitution.
Coach Ron Biggers, who did
fine job in the face of tough
conditions, is anticipating a
much-improved team for 1974•
It is hoped that the lessons
learned this year will pay off
in developing strong returning
sophomore players, and that
experienced new students will
participate in the sport next
fall.
