In addition, the Altoona and Delaware campuses were in cluded in the schedule this year, thus'expanding the range of competition. Injuries, al though generally not serious, harassed the team all season, requiring a great deal of off - the -bench substitution. Coach Ron Biggers, who did fine job in the face of tough conditions, is anticipating a much-improved team for 1974• It is hoped that the lessons learned this year will pay off in developing strong returning sophomore players, and that experienced new students will participate in the sport next fall. Sorority activities The first pledge project for Theta Sigma Pi Sorority will be collecting for UNICEF tri costume on Halloween. Sophomore members are urged to meet their freshmen pledges at a meeting on Tuesday, October 30 at 12:30 in the Highacres Room of the Library. Freshmen pledges are to pick up their pins at this time.
