Diverse faculty join staff By Ken Stiggers Four new faculty members with diverse backgrounds joined the Capitol faculty this fall. The new face in the Science, Engineering and Technology Division is Ganesh P. Bal. In 1969 Bal graduated with a B.E. degree from Karnatak University, India. At Virginia Polytechnic, he completed his Master of Science in 1976 and his Ph.D. degree in 1980. Guralnick is the new face in the Humanities Division. He graduated from Temple in 1978 with a B.A. degree. He completed his M.P.A. and J.D. degrees at Nova University. Guralnick is an assistant professor of humanities. He teaches jour nalistic writing and mass media and politics.
