The dance is held annually in the Recreation Hall at University Park early in the year, next slated for early 2002. Behrend's goal for THON this year is $3O, 000--more than ever raised at Behrend before. THON commitee meetings will be held every Monday at 1:00 p.m. in the SGA Office in the Reed Union Building. Kasdorf is a poet from Irwin, Pa, but spend a large portion of her childhiood in Mifflin County, where her experiences have helped to build a strong base of ideas for her poetry. Two of the three books of poetry Kasdorf has released have won awards. She has also wrote a book called "The Boday and the Book: Writing from a Mennonite Life," concerning her life in Mennonite churches, schools, and communities.
