One of the problems of the large educational institutions, such i as State will soon become, is to avoid the loss of personal acquaintance be tween faculty and students outside the class room. No building affords a place for such social functions and few are attempted aside from the Y. M. C. A. receptiouto new students at the beginning of each academic year. We need a Student Building for this so cial purpose. Do We Want An Aero Club ? An Ihtercollegiate Aeronautic Con vention is to be held in Philadelphia soon and Penn State is asked to send a representative. The following let ter will be of interest to "aero" en thusiasts. A new science \ has seemingly suddenly sprung up from the earth and now it proniises to revolutionize transportation: Its effect will probably be felt more vi tally than any modern invention in bringing the farthest corners of the earth in closer touch. Aerial navigation has been dream ed of for centuries. Now the dream is realized. It seems but fitting that the trained American college man should take up the work and try, to perfect it. 1 Imbued with this feeling, many of America's leading , Universities have already organized Aero Clubs and any more 'are rapidly following suit.
