On the Trail of the Immigrant. One of the most interesting lect ures ever given in State College will be that on "On the Trail of the Im migrant" by Dr. E. A. Steiner on Friday the fifteenth. Dr. Steiner is able to speak with special force to Pennsylvanians because he has made a study of immigration in this state, and is thoroughly conversant with the conditions Dr. Steiner is to sail this month for the southern coun tries of Europe where he will study at first hard the conditions of the people who are emigrating to this country, and the reasons why tney leave their own homes. He takes with him a dozen college graduates Dr. E. A. Seiner who will study with him with the aim of becoming experts on immi gration able to' aid in the solution of the problem of making Americans out of these aliens. The fact that Dr. Steiner was selected for this un dertaking is evidence of the high re pute in which he is held by the authorities on immigration. The lecture on Friday evening will be popular in character, and no student who wishes to be informed in one of the greatest problem that confronts this state can afford to miss this rare opportunity.
