COLLEGE NOTES. It will be of interest to a large number of students to know that the mail which leaves here at 6.30 a. m. is made up at 6.00 a. m. instead of at 7p. m. the previous evening, as has hitherto been the custom. E. R. Bitler.who recently left State to enter the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, has returned to re sume his work with the class of 'O7. A Flourishing Class The first regular meeting of the parliamentary law class was held last Thursday evening. So many attended that the seating capacity of the room was exceeded, and future meetings will be held in more spacious quarters, probably the old chapel. As the textbooks had not yet arrived, Mr. Ray occupied the hour with a very instructive talk on the various kinds of organizations' and the qualifications and duties of the officers. Afterward he an swered a number of questions on parliamentary procedure. The meeting place for the next session of the class will be posted on the bulletin board. Prof. Paul J. Dashiel. head coach of the Navy football team, has re signed from the American inter collegiate football rules committee, of which he has been chairman for a number of years. Prof. Dashiel has been promoted to full professor ship at the Naval Academy, with the rank of lieutenant.
