COLLEGE NOTES Washington’s Birthday last Thurs day was observed here by the sus pension of exercises for the after noon. Rev. G. T. Gunter gave a very well delivered address on “The Word of God” in the Auditorium last Sunday morning. The bowling alleys placed in the basement of the new building are very popular with the students. The baskets in the gymn have been suspended from the beams. This will eliminate chance for injury due to players running into the poles which originally supported the baskets. The under classes are organizing their basketball teams for the coming battle. The date of the game has not yet been made public.
