State 49--Susquehanna 23, Last Monday evening in the Col lege Armory our ’Varsity five had rather an easy time of it with the Susquehanna College five, although two week’s lack of practice by rea son of .the midwinter examinations was noticeable in the team-worn dis p’ayed by Capta.n Heaton’s men. The Susquehanna boys played a hard game, and Shaffer, their cap tain, who stands six feet four in his basketball shoes, seemed to be a 1 allying point for their team. At forward for the Selinsgrove colleg *ians Weaver didsome excellent goal shooting, while Yec.kly for State was closely followed by Captain Heaton, and Kilmer, while in the first half, Moorhead’s brilliant pass ing was noteworthy.
