’O7 Mechanicals and Civils. After much preliminary talking and boasting by both sides of what they would do to each other, the’o7 Mechanicals and Civils met'"upon the gridiron on Saturday last. The first half ended with honors about even and both sides anxious for more. In the second half, Stair, of the Mechanicals, got away around the end, and of course there was no catching him then. It was a ninety yard run for a touchdown and Mum ma kicked the goal. That ended the game, the time being almost up.
