The picture shall be taken with one of the college buildings as a background. BANQUET RUSH. Ist. The Freshman banquet must take place between the open ing of the second semester and the beginning of the Easter vacation. 2nd. If the Sophomores succeed in preventing the attendance at the banquet of either the toastmaster of the banquet, or two of the sched uled speakers, they shall be award ed the victory. 3rd. Besides other conditions being fulfilled, the Freshmen, to be declared victors, must have present at the banquent at least thirty per cent of their class. FLAG RUSH. Ist. The flag rush must take place between the opening of the Spring term and the beginning of the Senior examinations. 2nd. The flag must be raised within the following limits: Along the road beyond Beaver Field west to the college barns, south along the road to the Bellefonte Central tracks, along the railroad to College Ave., east to the Experiment Sta tion road. 3rd. The pole shall be planted in the ground and flag shall be rais ed by the Freshman class before 6 a. m. 4th. In order to win, the Fiesh men must fly their flag on their pole within the prescribed time and limits, and keep it there until eight o’clock of the morning of the rush. sth. In order to win, the Sopho- THE STATE COLLEGIA^ mores must tear the flag from the pole before eight o’clock, or take it from Freshmen or a Freshman with in the designated limits. 6th. The use or barb and other varieties of wire (not including net ting), climbers, or other implements likely to cause serious injury are strictly prohibited in this and every other rush. GENERAL RULES, (1) College caps are not to be worn by any except as permitted by the A. A. (2) Class caps shall not be worn before Easter vacation of the Sopho more year. (3) Freshmen shall be at liberty to wear class jerseys only after the football game, whether they win or lose. (4) The regularly elected mana gers of the classes for basketball and track shall have charge of these interclass affairs. The presidents of the Senior and Junior classes shall together select a third man and these three shall of ficially decide the winner of these contests. The presidents of the Senior and Junior classes and the president of the athletic association shall consti tute a committee on these rules and shall keep a brief copy of them with changes made in interclass meetings of the two upper classes that may be held from time to time.
