In the literary life of the school the class of 1905 is not lacking. It is due chiefly to the energies of some of its members that this paper was started and on its editorial boards we have had Hoke, Hart and Torrence. Three of its members, Aungst, Hart and Hun ter have represented us at one time cr another in inter-collegiate debates. Of those of 1905 who have been honored by election to conspicuous offi ces we will mention. Beck, Eshel man, Johnson, and Rainey the four class presidents and Smith and Of futt the managers of the athletic teams. We do not pretendd to repeat all that the different members of this class have done but will only say that everyone of them has proven himself a man and leaves a record that he may be proud to own. 1906 La Vie The first installment of the 1906 La Vie appeared last Friday as con tracted for. Many new and original ideas have appeared and thus far the comments passed upon the book are very favorable. The art work, espec ially, is of the very highest order. The books are selling very rapidly and any student who wishes one had better get one at once before the edition is ex hausted. W. L.
