The Free Lance is published on or about the fifteenth of each month from October to June, inclusive, by a Board of Editors elected from the three upper classes of The Pennsylvania State College. Its aim Is to encourage lit erary work In College, and to give a faithful representation of College life, Contributions of all kinds are, therefore, earnestly solicited from the Students and Alumni. The subscription price, for one volume of nine numbers, Is $1.00; single copies, 16 cents. The Lange will be sent regularly to all old subscribers and new students unless ordered to discontinue. With this issue of the Free Lance, a change in the edi torial staff will be noticed. A new editor and two associates have been elected to fill the vacancies which have occurred since our last issue. As is the case in all changes of mem bership in a board, their first work is somewhat handicapped by being placed in new environment and the lack of a wide experience. The editor, in the assumption of his duties, desires to continue the succesful effort made last year to revive our journal from the obscurity which threatened it in/ its recent history.
