Editorial. Thanksgiving' is over, and if all the turkeys in the vi cinity of State are not dead it is not the fault of the boys— we tried to find them all. Now, after the short vacation, there are a few more days of work remaining, and then comes the end of the term and a few more days of rest. Foot ball is over for the season and we have little cause for a complaint. We had hard games to play and we won our share of them. One thing - we regret—that the game at Williamsport could not be played to a finish; and, while every one regrets that the annual trip to that place must be given up, yet, for the good of State, all feel that athletic re lations with a college that cannot contest in a sportsmanlike way should be severed. From the conduct in the past we should have expected nothing better. Although the trustees did not carry out our hopes in re gard to the proposed band, help came in another way. When Gen. Beaver takes hold of a scheme it is likely to be carried out; and so in this enterprise he became interested and now, by the aid of Hon. Andrew Carnegie, the band seems assured. The instruments have not yet been pro cured, but funds for the purchase of twenty pieces are at hand and it is hoped that practice will soon begin. The band should be prepared for the trip to Washington at the Inauguration in the spring.
