    NEW COFFEE HOUSE OPEN
The Inn Secure Coffee House,
Inc., is an area non-profit or-
ganization, legally incorporated
and dedicated to providing an in
tellectual, sophistocated atmos
phere for pleasure and conversa
tion.
Temporary headquarters are
in the basement of St. Paul Epis
copal Church located at 134 West
Seventh Street. Programs are
each Friday night from S to 12
p.m. until such time as arrange
ments are completed for permanent
establishment at Seventh and Peach
Streets on the south west corner.
When all arrangements have
been completed, the Seventh and
Peach Streets location will be
open on a day to day basis. Dur
ing the week it will serve as a
"lounge" for students between
classes, including a pleasant at
mosphere piped in music, cc
and pastries. In the eveni
will be selected programs s

ship card entitles the holder to
fifty per cent reduction of the
cover charge on weekends when
there is professional entertainment,

sent out weekly and to special pro
grams held during the week. Mem
bership cards will go on sale the
day of the opening of the perman
ent coffee house.
The Inn Secure is sponsored by
the Erie Council of Churches.
COLLEGIAN WINS PRESS CONTEST
Penn State's newspaper, the
Daily Collegian, has been awarded
first place and second place awards
in the annual college press contest
of Sigma Delta Chi, professional
journalism society.
In competition with 93 other
colleges, the Collegian placed
first in the sports stories compet
ition and second in the news stories
catecry.
