It was through this tap that the caller was caught "I let Police and Safety set up the phone tap because the calls were affecting my grades and off campus employment" Wei ton said. "I shouldn't have my work negatively affected by someone's sick phone calls." After the caller was apprehended in September, the prosecution orignially intended to give a minimal sentence, but Contained in variations of: Alka-Settzer Plus, Allerest.Contac, Da Tavist Nyquil Cepastat, Chloraseptic, Cheracd, Vicks Cepacol, Halls, Thursday, December 9, 1993 Welton thought that was not enough. "The worst part was that he knew he had a problem, but he wasn't sorry." Student Activities received a certificate of merit as an organization. It set up crime prevention exercises. According to the qualifications for the award. Student Activities had to sustain crime prevention activities for five years. "They've done all kinds of things from calling us with help on investigations, to asking for our assistance, to sponsoring crime prevention programs," Allen said. Allen said these award recipients epitomized how police investigations have evolved. "Studies have found that community assistance in investigating has helped to solve many more crimes than the police alone." Precautions causa head* r, dry mouth, te&ilboflt •SWSf. \y.v, t.. A 2.
