Some night when you and your
friends are just twiddling your
thumbs, here's something new
and exciting you may want to
check out: The Rocky Horror
Picture Show" at Pittsburgh’s
Hollywood Theater.
The show takes place every
Saturday night at midnight.
“The Rocky Horror Picture
Show” started in 1973 in London
as a stage play and is now

and Janet (Barry Bostwick and
Susan Saradon), who get a flat
tire on a stormy night and seek
help at a nearby castle.
Inside, they meet the master of
the house, Sweet Transvestite,

his latest creation: the muscle
bound man "with blond hair and a
tan.”
Brad and Janet are taken captive
in the bizarre castle. The plot
grows more complex as Dr.
Everett Scott arrives and the
servants plot to take over.
At the Hollywood Theater, the
actual film is only half of the
"Rocky Horror Picture Show”
experience.
The Junior Chamber of
Commerce Players perform the
show right in front of the screen.
They use costumes, props, and
homemade puppets as characters.
Audience participation is part
of the "Rocky Horror Picture
Show.” Rice is thrown during a
wedding scene and squirt guns are
used to simulate rain. The
audience shouts out crude and
