Thursday, September 16, 1993 SGA Welcome to another school year here at Behrend College. Let me begin by explaining what SGA is and what it does. SGA (The Student Government Association) is made up of officers and senators, elected by you the students, and the presidents of the major student organizations on campus. We hold our meetings at 5:15 p.m. every Wednesday in the Reed Seminar room. The meetings are open to the campus. One of our major goals this year is to get more involvement from the students and to discover and address some of their major concerns. So welcome all guests and suggestions meetings. SGA also runs the Parking Appeals Board and these meetings are held on Mondays at 6:30 p.m. in the Reed Seminar Room. After you have filed an appeal you can come to your hearing to present your argument with the board. I'll say my fond farewells for this week with a congratulations to our new Resident Senators Matthew Cissne, Wendy Martinec, and Paul Lorio and to our new Commuter Senators Lordes Tirado, Jabari Hunt and Jennifer Moravek.
