Over the past year SGA has made a turn
around for the good and now we want to make
it better. By seeking reelection, we feel it
would be better for •an experienced president
and new vice-president to again lead SGA.
Many of you express confidence in us, and
those of you who are unsure, we hope that you
would check us out before you vote.

SGA President
Jason DeMarte
SGA Vice-President
My goal for the following year is to enhance
Behrend's weekend activities on campus. The
key to successful activities is offering unique
events sporadically in accordance with student
body interests. Our best event this year, in
which this is evident, is the Coffee House,
which was a huge success. In terms of service,
I plan to repeat the book sale which made
$2000.00 for the student body. And this is just
the beginning of the huge success which will
happen next year.

Good leadership means good government.
Combined, we have three years experience on
SGA and have been on the executive boards of
six organizations. We have seen apathy
diminish among senators. We want the chance
to put our leadership experience to work for
SGA. In short, change breeds progress.
James D. Ruhlman
SGA President
Michael Brenneman
SGA Vice-President
To be the most essential thing for Behrend is
change. Right now most University sponsored
events are either redundant, poorly planned or
just plain lame. I want the JRC to be more
available to resident requests and, interests
and try to generate a little more excitement for
campus events by making them more unique
and more broadly appealing.
