Coming off a long three week
lay off the Lady Lions were ready
for action again.
They started off the new year
with two road games before most
of us even had our bags packed to
come back to school.
On January sth the Lions
visited Westminster. They
controlled the game and cruised to
a 70-50 win over the Lady
Titans.
Less than a week later they
were on the road again headed for
the King's College Tournament.
In the first round game, the
Lady Lion's defeated Lycoming
60-48 but fell short in the
championship matchup to a
strong Wilkes team (11-1) 62-69.
That loss made the Lady Lions
0-3 in tourney championship
games this year, their only losses
of the season.
As the new semester started, so
did a well deserved three game
home stand.
"It's nice to be home for a few
games because we have a tough
stretch coming up, and it's a good
rest," said head coach Jenepher
Banker.
The Lady Lions came back to
Erie Hall to face Fredonia,
Bethany, and Alfred.
On January 13th the Lions
faced off with Fredonia, whom
