New members honored

Davis played baseball and
basketball at Behrend. Davis won
the Athlete of the Year award in
1974 and 1976 ,and broke the
career basketball assist record
(266) and career baseball batting
average record (.447).
Grczelak was the
Commonwealth Campus singles
tennis champion in 1968 and
1969 and was the number onc
ranked single’s and double’s
player for Behrend. 1969 was a
good year for Grczelak because he
was also a doubles finalist in the
NJCAA regional tournament and

Grczelak was the recipient of
the Penn Slatc-Behrcnd Richard
Dill Service Award in 1990.
Marsh was the captain of the
soccer team in 1971 and 1972. In
1971, he led Behrend to the
Commonwealth Campus
championship. He became a
Western Pennsylvania All-
Conference All-Star and won the
team MVP in 1972.
Nolan was a starter on both the
soccer and baseball teams. In
1975, he was drafted by the St.
Louis Cardinals in the fourth
Pacific Midwest Central Atlantic

Williams went to Behrend
when it was only a two year
school, but he took full
advantage of his two years. He
was a member of both the
basketball and baseball teams.
During his Behrend career,
Williams captained the 1967
PJCAA Champion basketball
team and was named basketball
MVP both seasons. He also made
a name for himself in baseball by
making the All-Region team in
1967.
