The Matchbox Players newest production, "Next..." will address all your concerns, anticipations, and thrills of life after you graduate. "Next..." is not your traditional "run of the mill" play. It consists of various scenes from plays, monologues, and poems that deal with the stages of life a person goes through. Relationships, marriage, having children, aging, and death are some of the important events that "Next..." touches upon. Dr. Kathleen Campcll directed the cast whch includes: Stephen Daniel, Terri Evans, Ericha Hagenbuch, Glenn McCall, Eric Soder, and Terri Swanson. The play is approximately one hour long and is being performed at Behrend college's Studio Theater at 8:30 p.m. Friday .Sept. 25 and at 1,5, and 8 p.m. Saturday Sept. 26. Making their second appearance at Bruno's (Behrend's only on campus night club) this fall, it's Ric and Brian Butler. The Butler brothers are accoustical guitar players that put on a show you must sec. "This act was designed especially for venues that don't need a large band, yet desire a quality and style second to none." says Mark Lots, the manager of the brothers, "The atmosphere is both sincere and carefully calculatcd-a style reflective of their personalities on one hand, and a product packaged for sale on the other,". "The brothers, Ric, 28 and his brother Brian, 26 have been singing together since they were young boys", continues Lots. The brothers lived on a farm as young men. "They learned to drive a tractor before they could read, and piano and voice lessons started soon after”, finishes Lots. Page popular Both members of the duo attended college. Ric studied at Cedarville College, his brother, Brian, studied at Edinboro University. Their music is a combination of works from great artists such as John Mellancamp , Bruce Springsteen, and John Denver. The mixture can provide an air of humor as well as a spectacular show.
